At Embrace Her Lead, we believe that the foundation of our organization is at its strongest when diverse perspectives, cultures, and backgrounds are brought to the table. We are a community created by women and for women that serves as a guiding source to the direction in navigating professional endeavors while providing support in mental, emotional, and personal growth initiatives.

A couple of years ago, I came across the phrase 'beYOUtiful, and I think it stuck with me ever since. I'm Shalini and I truly believe that we all have a little bit of magic in us, we just have to empower each other to light up the world with it!

I've been a wanderer from a very early age, but my one big dream had always been to move to New York City. They call it the city that never sleeps, but I like to think of it as the city of dreams (or at least, my dreams). I made it happen a couple of years ago when I moved here for my first job. Today, I work in Digital Marketing at Morgan Stanley's Wealth Management division.

I love turning my passion into purpose. Outside of my professional career, I work as a lifestyle blogger and bring light to all things that inspire me, bring me joy, force me to think, and shape me into the person that I am today. On a random day, you would find me exploring new coffee shops around the city with my husband, Rohan, or snuggled up and diving into a new read. Growing up as a globe trotter, finding who you are and what inspires you can be extremely challenging.

By spending my formative years in an entirely new space, I faced my own set of challenges and constantly wished for a relatable mentor who could empathize with my struggles. Nonetheless, I've been one of the lucky ones with a strong support system found in my family and the mentors I've encountered at different stages of my career.

I founded Embrace Her Lead to serve as a way to connect ambitious young women with mentors who are passionate about empowerment through experience. I strongly believe that the world needs an empathy revolution, and by finding inspiration from the bumps along my trail, I am dedicated to uplifting young women in need of a guiding light.
